Easily one of my favorite prog albums ever made. Complex without being pompous, Luminaria features a concerning number of 7+ minute songs, but none of them feel excessive or drawn-out. This album is a great example of fantastic taste with perfect execution. Well, mostly fantastic taste. They lose points for recommending Blumen - Mångata. I went to give it a listen and it was awesome, but I was almost immediately hit with The Lick and I'm pissed.

One of the most spectacular albums I've heard since Lateralus. Amazing that this came as the output of a person grieving the loss of people whom they built lives and careers together with. The pain yet exuberance of this music is so enlivening, full of need for empathy and sympathy yet also hope and joy in carrying on to be an awakened person and express the highest good.
